I have social media, but it is controlled and censored by capitalist elites, so it is not the best place to stay up to date on ways to work with me.   • Please let me know a bit about your situation, the number of people that will be attending the consultation (individual or group), and indicate if you are seeking a one time session, multiple sessions, or ongoing consultation. I work in-person and virtually for consultation and I consult with people from anywhere in the world. You can learn more about consultation with me here.

  • I have an in-person psychotherapy practice in Oakland, CA. If you are curious about working together, please visit my psychotherapy website: www.LauraNorthrupPsychotherapy.com. Please note that I only practice therapy with residents of California.

  • You can learn more about working with me for supervision here. When you contact me, please include your anticipated time frame for starting supervision and a brief description of your practice. Please note I do not employ associate therapists, I can work with you as someone who is contracted by your place of employment.

  • Please feel free to do this! I love hearing from listeners and readers about how my work is supporting you. Please also consider writing a public review for my book on Goodreads or for my podcast on whatever podcasting app you use.

  • Please include the speaking or teaching topic, an explanation of your event or organization with links, the proposed date(s), the proposed compensation, and the proposed length. Please also indicate if the event will be recorded and available for future viewing. Please keep in mind that I charge more for any event that requires preparation in the form of designing curriculum, writing a talk, or multiple planning conversations/emails.

  • Please send sample questions or a description of what you plan to interview me about, a sense of your timeline, if the interview will be released as audio, video, or both, the length of time needed for the interview, and information about the larger project or event with links. If you have previous work (ie previous podcast episodes) please point me toward 10 minutes of your work so I can listen and have a sense of your style and approach. I do not do unpaid interviews for events that are for-profit or behind a pay wall. I prioritize interviews that 1) reach a large audience, 2) reach a new audience, or 3) center around topics or information that are explored from a different angle than all my previous interviews.

  • I would love to support you! But if it isn’t a simple question I can quickly respond to by email, please make it clear in your message to me that you are requesting to schedule a paid consultation.

  • Please let me know about yourself in your initial email, your intention around connecting, and include a link to your website or other online presence. I receive many emails asking to get coffee/do a video call with not much information about the person making the request or about the intention. I do love to meet peers for potential collaborations, but if the request is mostly so you can ask me questions about my work and not an exchange between us, please see my Interviews & Talks page where there is a list of links containing pre-recorded interviews.
